Newcastle area students listed on Oklahoma University Fall Honor Rolls
The University of Oklahoma announced today the students named to its fall 2023 honor roll, a distinction given to those who achieve the highest academic standards. Several Newcastle students were among those listed. A total of 9,859 students were named to the fall 2023 honor roll. Of these students, 4,290 were named to the President’s Honor Roll for earning an “A” grade in all their courses.

Border crisis is why I voted to impeach Mayorkas
In January of 2021, President Biden assumed the presidency with an aggressive immigration agenda. In just his first 100 days in office, he took 94 executive actions, including removing Title 42 and Remain in Mexico, halting border wall construction, and reinstating Catch-and-Release, in an attempt to make it easier for immigrants to illegally enter and stay in our nation.

Take an active role in legislative process
The legislative session begins with the annual State of the State, committee meetings, and days of recognition for various groups and causes, including Rose Day. Each year, hundreds of pro-life advocates visit the Capitol to share the importance of upholding the sanctity of life. I appreciate everyone who visited my office to share their perspective on proposed legislation. As we continue to work through legislation this session, I encourage you to take an active role in the process, especially as we consider matters that will have a statewide impact.

McClain-Grady EMS makes 39 calls for falls
