Combatting the Biden Administration’s inflation crisis
Throughout the past three years in office, President Biden has embarked on spending spree after spending spree. First, just two months after inauguration, he signed the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan Act, initiating a spike in prices on consumers just days after the bill was signed into law. Then, in November of 2021, he ran up the federal credit card again by signing the $1.2 trillion “infrastructure” legislation into law, which had fewer than one of every four dollars for what most Americans would consider to be actual infrastructure.

NHS vocal students earn honors at District
Newcastle High School Choir attended the District Solo and Ensemble Contest on Saturday, February 24, bringing home several awards. Attendees, from bottom left, are: Allison Hill, Avery Phillips, Aubrey Cain, and Aly Wilson. At top are: Elle Bearden, Chance Bell, Emily Bussom, Madison Claypool, and Raena Kimbrell. Bussum, Cain, Kimbrell, Claypool, Wilson and the ensemble of Bussum, Cain, Claypool and Phillips qualified to compete at the State Solo and Ensemble Contest. Bearden, Bussum, Cain, Kimbrell, Claypool, Wilson and the ensemble received Superior, while Bell, Phillips and the Duet of Bussum and Hill received Excellent.
