Asa Roesler, a junior at Noble High School, recently served as a page for Rep. Jonathan Wilk, R-Goldsby, during the tenth week of the Oklahoma House of Representatives’ 60th Legislature.

Roesler is a concurrent student and an active leader at his school, currently serving as a Student Council officer. He participates in several organizations, including FCCLA, National Honor Society, soccer and broadcasting.

He plans to attend Seton Hall University to major in psychology, with the goal of becoming a therapist. He’s also interested in exploring other aspects of his field and future entrepreneurship opportunities.

“Asa is an impressive young leader who brings passion and curiosity to everything he does,” Wilk said. “It was an honor to have him at the Capitol this week. I’m confident his future holds great success.”

Wilk, a Republican, represents House District 24 in the Oklahoma House of Representatives. He is dedicated to supporting educational opportunities and encouraging young Oklahomans to explore leadership and public service.

The Oklahoma House High School Page Program is open to juniors and seniors. Pages are assigned for one week, Monday through Thursday, and gain firsthand experience in the legislative process by working in the House Chamber during session, assisting representatives and staff, and participating in the House Page Mock Legislature.
