Newcastle Chamber of Commerce announced its May activities. They include the monthly Morning Mingle, and a day where members will go to the State Capitol in Oklahoma City to advocate for local interests.

The Chamber will have a Morning Mingle at 9 a.m., May 9 at Elevate Dance Academy, 167 N.E. 31st Street in Newcastle.

About 24 local residents will make the trip from 8:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 14. They’ll hear guest speakers State Senator Kendal Sacchieri, State Representative Jonathan Wilk, and advocacy representatives.

They’ll also have a lunch, sponsored by Lee Consulting. Chamber CEO/Executive Director Gayla Riddle said a limited number of spots to attend are available.
