Sandra “Sandy” Lee Holder, 76 years of age, passed away on June 10, 2021. The daughter of Freddie Orville and Helen Mary (Kime) Roberson, Sandy was born in Seminole, Okla., on April 1, 1945.
Ronald Raymond “Ronny” Moore, 73, of Newcastle, died Monday, May 17, 2021, at his home. The son of Raymond Moore and Wanda Evelyn (McCauley) Moore, he was born July 23, 1947, in Oklahoma City.
Violet Delores Ake, 79, of Moore, formerly of Newcastle, died Thursday, April 15, 2021, at her home. The daughter of Lester Thomas Lewis and Vesta Violet (McGuinnis) Lewis, she was born Feb. 16, 1942, in Woodward.
Todd David Griffith, 50, of Newcastle, passed away early Friday morning, March 12, 2021, surrounded by his family. For many years he fought a long, hard battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Todd was born Aug. 29, 1970, in Norman. He was the middle of three children born to Sherrell “Butch” David Griffith and Saundra Kay (Pate) Griffith. Todd grew up in Newcastle working on the family farm and graduated from Newcastle High School with the class of 1988. While in high school he was active in FFA and attended Newcastle First Baptist Church. He later attended Oklahoma State University and received a Bachelor Degree with a double major in Animal Science and Business.
