Kenneth Ray Stier

Kenneth Ray Stier, 75, of Guthrie, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his family. Also known as Ken or Kenny, he was born in Oklahoma City on June 8, 1950.

Ken attended public schools in Oklahoma City going to Calvin Coolidge Elementary, Roosevelt Middle School, U.S. Grant High School, and a brief stint at OSU Technical Institute studying computer science. He was a proud member of the 745th Military Police Company and was discharged in 1977 as a Staff Sergeant.

While at U.S. Grant, Ken met the love of his life and future life partner Carol Jean Beaty, whom he wed on February 7, 1969. Their union has lasted more than 56 wonderful years together.

Ken’s adult employment included a list of different careers as an Architectural Draftsman with the Oklahoma City Urban Renewal Authority, Vice President of Enterprise Millwork, Assistant Golf Professional at Oak Tree Country Club, and Head Golf Professional at Temeku Country Club (Temecula California), Sun City Palm Springs (California), Hillcrest Golf County Club (Phoenix), Legacy Hills Golf Club, Georgetown (Texas), Shawnee Country Club (Oklahoma), and Lakeside Golf Club (Stillwater, Oklahoma).

He later co-owned Stier Homes with Carol. In 2010 Ken began employment with the City of Oklahoma City Public Works department as a Construction Project Manager.

Ken was preceded in death by: his mother and father Russell and Geraldine Stier, mother and father-in-law Dolores and Willard Beaty, sister-in-law Susan Myers, sister-in-law Carrie Beaty, and his nephew Brent Bristol. He is survived by: his amazing wife Carol, his beloved daughters Ericka Sheridan and husband Kris, Nicole Paniel and husband Zack, grandchildren Makenna Hartman and husband Chris, Jacob Paniel and Abigail Sheridan, and great-grandson Ezekiel Judah-Ray Hartman. He is also survived by: his brother Dale Stier and wife Susie, brother-in-law Gary Beaty and wife Betty, sister-inlaw Terri Bates and husband Kerry, sister-in-law Delia Bristol and husband Wayne, brother-in-law Mark Beaty, brother-in-law Jeff Beaty and wife Amy, and many, many nephews and nieces whom he dearly loved.

A Celebration of Ken’s Life will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
