Lunch is served for a $4 donation at the Newcastle Senior Citizen’s Center each week day. Meals consist of a drink, soup, salad bar, main meal and dessert. The public is welcome.
Newcastle FCCLA members competed at State last week in Stillwater. Alayna Aytes competed in Event Management, and Luke Beson and Chloe Chmil competed in the Sustainability Challenge. Jacob Jones competed in Job Interview, and Aniza Galindo competed in Cake Decorating. Shelby Edwards competed in Career Investigation. The following persons have been charged by the State of Oklahoma with traffic or other violations or have filed other court actions in Mc- Clain County District Court between February 24-March 2, 2022.
A social media group had already gained more than 2,900 members by Friday to “push back” against the turnpike extensions proposed by the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority. One of those extensions will connect Newcastle to Norman and eventually to the Kickapoo Turnpike on the east side of the metro.
