Transportation officials made some speed zone changes on U.S. Interstate 35 in McClain County during their meeting on Monday in Oklahoma City. Drivers using these areas are asked to note the zoning changes.

HOSA-Future Health Professionals, a global student-led organization whose mission is to empower future health professionals to become leaders in the global health community, has elected Sataiea Simmons as the State Post-secondary Large School Representative. Simmons g r a duated with honors from Wayne High School in 2018. Upon graduating from high school Simmons attended college for a brief time but decided at that time college wasn’t in her best interest, and she began investigating other educational opportunities.
