McClain-Grady Emergency Medical Services made 194 total calls in the month of October 2022. Of those, 120 were billed calls and 74 were non-transport. The EMS had an average response time of 7.75 minutes, with an average patient transport of 12.10 miles. Types of calls made by the EMS are the following: abdominal pain, 14; allergic reaction, 1; altered consciousness, 4; anxiety, 1; assault, 6; auto accident, 18; cardiac arrest, 6; chest pain, 17; event standby, 0; fall, 21; fire standby, 2; hemmorhage, 1; hyperglycemia, 2; hypoglycemia, 4; laceration, 2; lift assist, 9; overdose, 5; police standby, 1; seizure, 1; shortness of breath, 23; sick call, 45; stroke, 1; suicide, 1; and syncope, 9.
McClain County Election results were certified Friday by the McClain County Election Board. The area results mirrored results statewide from the election with a landslide for republicans.
