Racers for Excellence luncheon Feb. 27 at NHS
Newcastle Chamber of Commerce board member Brittany Houser recently announced that the February 27 chamber luncheon will be the annual Racers for Excellence Scholarship Auction and Luncheon. The luncheon will be from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Newcastle High School Field House/Wellness Center, 101 N. Main. The public is invited to attend.

Chickasaw Nation offers Summer EBT program
WASHINGTON - The Chickasaw Nation is one of four First American tribes, 35 states and five U.S. territories to launch the permanent summer grocery benefits program for children, known as Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT). The tribes plan to begin the program in summer 2024, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

MATC student excels at Ag Tech
