Honored at NPS Board meeting
The Newcastle Early Childhood Center, elementary school and high school received Certified Safe and Healthy Schools of Oklahoma program awards. Accepting on behalf of their schools are Newcastle Elementary School Principal Ryan McLaughlin, Newcastle Early Childhood Center Principal Jill Rosenbloom, and Newcastle High School Principal Adam Hull.

Marijuana taxes go back to city coffers
The November state tax collections reflecting October sales for Medical Marijuana in Newcastle showed a total return of $30,868.49.

Thank you to Dennis Sanders
Mayor Karl Nail (right) presents Dennis Sanders with a plaque during the December City Council meeting thanking him for his years of service, professionalism and leadership to the City of Newcastle.
