Newcastle’s annual Red, White & Blue Fest is from 5-10 p.m. Saturday, June 28 this year and it has something for everyone, according to organizers.
Parks & Recreation Director Kyle Marks said there will be more than 50 product vendors set up along with 11 food trucks. The City’s Splash Pad is open, and there will be inflatables for the kids to play on. There’s a petting zoo and pony rides, and giveaways throughout the event. Rock, Paper, Scissors will be played throughout the evening (story on page 1 of this issue), and the fireworks show begins at 9:45 p.m.
