Early voting underway today
Early voting begins Thursday, February 8, 2024 for voters in McClain County. Voters who will not be able to make it to the polls on Election Day, have the option of voting early at the McClain County Community Center. McClain County Election Board Secretary Karen Haley said early voting is open to all voters.

Racers for Excellence luncheon Feb. 27 at NHS
Newcastle Chamber of Commerce board member Brittany Houser recently announced that the February 27 chamber luncheon will be the annual Racers for Excellence Scholarship Auction and Luncheon. The luncheon will be from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Newcastle High School Field House/Wellness Center, 101 N. Main. The public is invited to attend.
