Sharon Linda (Welch) Moore

Sharon Linda (Welch) Moore, 74, of Oklahoma City, died, Sunday, July 3, 2022. The daughter of William Junior Welch and Edna Jestine Welch, she was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Sharon married her high school sweetheart, Leland Kay Cable, in July 1965 and together they adopted their daughter, Kayla, from India.

She later married Ronald Raymond Moore in 1992 and they spent many happy years together until Ronny passed away in May 2021. In March 2022, Sharon became engaged to be married to Charlie Osborn. They set their wedding date to be November 11, 2022. While their time together was cut short, they spent eight wonderful months together.

Sharon was a kindhearted woman with many friends and so much love for her family. She was a Christian in faith and a member of the Church of Christ. Sharon was proud of her heritage, being a member of the Chickasaw Nation. She was a member of the Oklahoma City Metro Chickasaw Community Council. Sharon was known as an animal lover, a collector of many things, a very private person, but also very giving. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by: her maternal grandparents, George and Zenobia Miller; her paternal grandparents, William and Georgia Welch; her father, William Junior Welch; her second husband, Ronald Moore; son-in-law, Tracy Hensley; and Bryan and Milo Warrick.

Sharon is survived by: her daughter, Kayla “Radhi” Hensley of Broken Arrow; her mother, Edna Welch of Oklahoma City; one brother, Gary Welch (Doniece) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; two sisters, Betty Smith (Kip) of Tuttle, and Janet Robbins-Page (Russell) of Prague; three grandchildren, Kaleb, Keith, and Mike; her fiancé, Charles Osborn of Oklahoma City; and many loving family members and friends.

Viewing was from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2022, at Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard. A funeral service was at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 16, 2022, at the Chickasaw Nation Community Center in Oklahoma City. Burial was at the Marlow Cemetery in Marlow, Oklahoma.
