Randall Ray Schultz

Randall (Randy) Ray Schultz, 70, of Newcastle, passed from this life on August 17, 2021. He was born to Wallace Edward Schultz and Jerry Ann Schultz (formerly Griffin) on July 28, 1951, in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Until his retirement, Mr. Schultz worked for the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier. Randall married the love of his life, his wife, Virginia, and together they had two children, Josh and Amanda.

Randall was a family man, and above all else, loved spending time with his beloved family. Some of the best times of his life were vacations with Virginia, Josh and Amanda, as they explored many different places around the United States.

Randall also very much loved show cars, and over the years, collected an impressive amount of classic automobiles, including a Model-T Ford and a sleek ’66 Mustang. He absolutely loved attending car shows and tours, and he was a member of various car clubs during his life.

Randall was proud to showcase his vehicles every year in the Midwest City parade.

After his retirement, Randall enjoyed spending his time volunteering at the Will Rogers Airport and for Meals on Wheels. He was deeply loved and will be forever remembered by his beloved family and all of the friends he made throughout his life.

Randall was preceded in death by: his mother and father, Jerry and Wallace Schultz; a brother, Guy Schultz; and one sister, Sandy Lee.

He is survived by: his loving wife, Virginia; his children, son Josh Schultz, and daughter Amanda Winters; his grandchildren, Mackinzie and Brook Schultz, and Eddie and Melissa Williams; a sister, Colleen Pegg and husband Dale; and nephew Jeffrey Pegg and nieces Jessica Pegg and Autumn Morris.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Freewill Baptist Church of Newcastle. Burial will follow at Newcastle Memorial Gardens.
