Obituaries Lowell Bruce Miller

Lowell Bruce Miller, 69, of Newcastle, died Tuesday, August 27, 2019, in Oklahoma City. The son of Bruce Oliver Miller and Mable Ruth (Simpson) Miller, he was born September 7, 1949 in Oklahoma City.

Lowell honorably served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era. He married Karen Joy Osborn on October 10, 1970 in Oklahoma City and they were married nearly 48 years. Lowell worked for many years as a mechanical engineer for 4 Star Trailers until his retirement. He was a 32nd Degree Mason with the Uriah Lodge #227 in Wheatland where he served as Past Master. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, and watching movies. Lowell was very good with his hands and spent countless hours tinkering and fixing things and was a master carpenter and a master machinist. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Karen.

Lowell is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Miller-Byfield, of Elgin; one son, Michael Miller and his wife, Melinda, of Oklahoma City; four grandchildren, Jaclyn Marks and her husband, Dylan, of Yukon, Tyler Miller of Oklahoma City, Megan Byfield of Elgin, and Alexandra Fox of Oklahoma City; one great grandchild, Emmitt Marks; four sisters, Joyce Kutej, Carolyn Proctor, Veda James, and Kathy Miller; one brother, John Miller and his wife, Betty, of Oklahoma City; and many other loved ones and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 7, 2019, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
