Georgeen Jo “Geenie” Cotter,

Georgeen Jo “Geenie” Cotter, 74, of Newcastle, died Monday, October 1, 2018, in Oklahoma City. The daughter of Richard Colvin and Eloise Claire (Miller) Colvin, she was born July 1, 1944 in Mariemont, Ohio.

Geenie married Glendal Ray Cotter on September 1, 1962 in Las Vegas. She worked many years as a medical secretary. Geenie was Christian in faith. She loved all animals, especially, cats. In her spare time, she enjoyed collecting angels and working in her flower bed growing roses and all kinds of flowers. Geenie’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Eloise Colvin.

Geenie is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ray Cotter, of Newcastle; three daughters, Sherrie Cotter of Oklahoma City, Jennifer Cotter of Newcastle, and Summer Cotter of Newcastle; one son, Robert Cotter and his wife, Katie, of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Kenneth Smith of Oklahoma City and Megan Ungaro of Owasso; two great grandchildren, Baylee Cotter of Midwest City and Nadia Smith of Royce City, Texas; one sister, Dixie Ewing and her husband, Leonard, of Las Vegas, Nevada; and many other loved ones and friends. She was a resident of Newcastle for 45 years.

Funeral service was held Saturday, October 6, 2018, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard.
