Austin Taylor Parker

On this, the one year anniversary of his passing, we wish to remember our son, Austin Taylor Parker, born Feb. 8, 1989. He passed away Oct. 23, 2021, at the age of 32 years.

Austin’s home towns were Oklahoma City and Newcastle, Oklahoma.

He is survived by: his loving parents, Mark and Sherry Parker; love of his life, Celia Parker; grandmothers, Dorothy Parker and Maxine Bolin; aunts, uncles, cousins and a very special friend, Sarah Baker.

He was predeceased by: grandfathers, Wayne Parker and Patrick Bolin; and his best friend Jeremy Boggess.

Austin was an old soul with an adventurous spirit. As an adult, he journeyed to and lived in several towns in Colorado and California, before falling in love and living in Tijuana Baja, California, for the last years of his life.

Music was his life. This is truly what he lived for. He had a strong love and talent for guitar, singing and mixing music.

Addiction robbed him and his family of many eagerly anticipated years of his love and presence.

In Austin’s own words, “I hate addiction.”

If you are in the clutches of addiction, Austin’s wish and our prayer is that you will FIGHT HARD TO OVERCOME in order that your life can be full and complete.

Our sincere prayers are with all families bound by addiction. May God Hold and Bless you all.

Austin, you were the desire of our hearts and it was the joy of our lives to be your parents. You are truly missed and loved by our everlasting love. Our hope is in the Lord.
