With an influx of federal money expected for infrastructure improvements and a first-ever, long-range plan being put into place, the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority is prepared to be very aggressive with projects to help keep traffic off U.S. Interstate 35. Two of these projects are expected to impact Newcastle.
Mike Crossley of Newcastle High School was one of five coaches recently inducted into the Oklahoma High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. The OHSBCA has recognized high school, college and professional coaches since 1967.
Lunch is served for a $4 donation at the Newcastle Senior Citizen’s Center each week day. Meals consist of a drink, soup, salad bar, main meal and dessert. The public is welcome.
