A new Chickasaw Nation resort marks the new beginnings for the former Lake Texoma lodge area on the big Oklahoma-Texas border lake. A ribbon cutting was recently held. Also in Chickasaw Nation news this week is a story about Officer Buckaloo being named “Indian Country Law Enforcement Officer of the Year.”
