A ribbon cutting by the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce was held for Scooter’s Coffee, 376 N. Main Street, at noon on Friday. Members of the chamber, and the Newcastle High School drum corps welcomed the new business. Owner Rita Metcalf (center in photo to the right) is with Jared Dunn, vice president of Operations for Scooter’s, and Brittany Hauser, bank manager at The First National Bank in Newcastle.
