In January of 2021, President Biden assumed the presidency with an aggressive immigration agenda. In just his first 100 days in office, he took 94 executive actions, including removing Title 42 and Remain in Mexico, halting border wall construction, and reinstating Catch-and-Release, in an attempt to make it easier for immigrants to illegally enter and stay in our nation.
The legislative session begins with the annual State of the State, committee meetings, and days of recognition for various groups and causes, including Rose Day. Each year, hundreds of pro-life advocates visit the Capitol to share the importance of upholding the sanctity of life. I appreciate everyone who visited my office to share their perspective on proposed legislation. As we continue to work through legislation this session, I encourage you to take an active role in the process, especially as we consider matters that will have a statewide impact.
Last week we learned that in December 2010, the American Legion officially began a relationship with the United Services Automobile Association (USAA) making the veteran founded insurance company “The American Legion’s preferred provider of financial services.”
