Hello Newcastle Seniors, I hope all is well. This has been an unusual week for us, I have not been to the center this week. We have had our eleven year old great-granddaughter most of the week and with the virus as it is, we could not go anywhere. Or shall I say we didn't go anywhere. Her mother is very protective and that is as it should be. One of Don's brother's passed away and we went to Altus for that funeral over the weekend and returned Monday.
All you have you have to do is pick up the newspaper or turn on the television to see how chaotic the world is becoming. It is obvious we live in a dark world that seems to be growing increasingly darker every day. This is also an important year in the life of our country. We will elect a president in just a few months. For many, this is a very confusing time. As a Christian looks at the decisions being made and the events happening in our world, a question arises, “How should Christians live and respond?”
Well it finally happened.
The Newcastle High School girls’ basketball team shouldn’t have a big letdown next season. That’s because Paul Bass has stepped in to fill the shoes of outgoing head coach Brett Sanders.
