Nora Mae Chambers

Nora Mae Chambers was born on Nov. 12, 1931, in Holdenville, OK to her parents, George and Vidith (Ligon) Roberson.  She was a homemaker, loving her family to the fullest and taking care of them all.  In Nora’s spare time, she enjoyed reading, puzzles, playing dominoes with her brothers, her canaries and her violets that she planted.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Vidith (Ligon) Roberson; husband, James Franklin Chambers; brothers, Burl, Albert and Hughlet Rich and sister, Juanita Abshire.  Nora leaves behind her son, Charles “Chuck” Chambers and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Joshua Chambers and wife, Krislyn and Jeremy Chambers and wife, Corleen; great grandchildren, Raven Chambers and Aurelia Chambers; Niece, Debbie Laughlin; Nephew, John Rich and numerous other relatives and friends. Services to celebrate her life were Wed. Jan. 8, 2020 at the South Colonial Chapel. Nora was laid to rest next to her husband, James, in the Hewitt Bomar Cemetery in Wilson, OK.
