Jody Paul Deaville

Jody Paul Deaville, age 76 of Newcastle, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 10, 2021.

Jody was born Oct. 23, 1944, in Newcastle, the fourth of five children born to Jody ‘DL’ Deaville and Cynthia Cecil (Wood) Deaville. He was raised in Newcastle and attended Newcastle Schools, graduating with the Racer Class of 1963.

Jody married young to Tena Fisher, and from this union, two daughters, Krisanna and Jodi Lea, were born. He worked as a truck driver for many years, and at one time owned and operated his own company, Deaville Trucking.

Jody later married Toni Walker, and two families became one for 30 wonderful years. He was a hard worker and a great provider. M&M Wrecking was his final work place before retirement and he truly enjoyed his coworkers’ friendship and truck 22 (as long as it was clean).

He loved his friends at the Feed Store and the BS sessions they all had. Jody’s true heart was always on the farm though, and they spent every waking moment building fence, working his cattle, and riding his ATV at the J&T Cattle Co. He spent countless hours on his tractor, and enjoyed riding his horses, and he never missed an opportunity to ride his Harley.

He was fun loving and adventurous and a joy to be around. He was always the jokester and had a new story to make everyone laugh. He cherished Toni, was a wonderful father and grandfather, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed!

He was preceded in death by: his daughter, Krisanna McKay; his parents, Jody and Cynthia Deaville; and siblings, Randolph Deaville, Joyce Higgins, and Glenda Deaville.

Jody is survived by his wife, Toni of the home; daughter, Jodi Lea Hood and husband Kenneth of Broken Arrow; step daughter, Cristi Miller and husband Griffin of Norman; stepson Jeramiah Walker and wife Aimee and their family of Newcastle; sister, Connie Reilly and husband Bob of Okemah; and seven grandchildren, Kasey Turner and husband Jackson, Alexander Hood, Anna McKay, Falon McKay, William Miller, Olivia Miller and Maria Miller; and a host of other family and friends.

The family is having a private memorial. Online condolences may be sent at www.wilsonlittle.com. A service will be scheduled in the near future, and will be posted on Wilson-Little’s website, as well as on social media.
