Cora Elaine Settle

Cora Elaine (Morris) Settle, 84, of Blanchard, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018, in Norman. The daughter of Benjamin “Blackie” Morris and Della Mae “Ole Momma” (Coggins) Morris, she was born October 3, 1933, in Blanchard.

In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and traveling. Cora loved her family and her church and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, JB, Buck, Boyd, and Ronnie; three sisters, Baby, Sis, and Faye; and son-in-law, Jerry Smith.

Cora is survived by four children, Cathy Smith of Ft. Worth, Texas, Brenda Pearson of Newcastle, Mike Henderson and Joy Mathews of Blanchard, Trudy Henderson and Wendy Camp of Blanchard; two sisters, Judy Chapman of Blanchard and Deanna Roberts of Maysville; Derrell Settle, who was married and faithfully devoted to Cora, shared Life, Love, Faith, Family and Friends for a wonderful 25 years!; two step daughters, Tandi Massey and her husband, Danny, of Oklahoma City and Misti Settle and Crissy Womack of Chickasha; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
