Algis Giovanni “Al” Bryant
Algis Giovanni “Al” Bryant, 55, of Newcastle, passed away April 4, 2020 in Oklahoma City. Al was born on May 8, 1964, in Memmingen, Germany to Donna Maryte (Maciulevicus) Bryant and James Edward Bryant. Al was raised in Newcastle and graduated from Newcastle High School in 1982.
Growing up in Newcastle, Al was quite the character. He loved fishing with his buddies, showing livestock, and even dancing. Al’s humor and kindness will always be missed by his friends and family. Al had a knack for mechanics and a very strong work ethic. He started out his career at Fred Jones Manufacturing and then began working on semi-trucks and refrigeration. When his nephews came along, he loved spending time with them, teaching them how to build things, going fishing, and mentoring them with their livestock exhibits.
He was preceded in death by his dad, James “PeeWee” Bryant; grandparents, W.O. and Erma Bryant; his Oma, Natalia Maciulevicus; and several aunts and uncles.
Al is survived by his mom, Donna Bryant of Newcastle; his sister, Debbie Lemons and husband, Todd, of Blanchard; nephews, Cole and Cody Lemons of Blanchard; his very special companion, Donna Gibson; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many other loved ones and friends.
We are consoled and comforted in knowing that Al had his faith in God and now is in Heaven. Isaiah 40:31 says, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.” Amen.
A private family memorial is planned for a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. You are encouraged to leave your condolences on the online guestbook at www.eisenhourfh.com.
