Frances was primarily a homemaker and took pride in caring for her family. She briefly worked for Emmer Brothers in downtown OKC, the Whistle Stop in Newcastle, and was on rare occasions known to substitute teach at Newcastle High School when her kids were young.

She was a talented seamstress and loved to sew, embroider and scrapbook with her family. Frances was a woman of great faith and was very active at her church home over the years.

She was a 50-year charter member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Oklahoma City where she took part in in the Lutheran Ladies Bowling League, the Lutheran Women’s Missionary Society, the Grace Lutheran couples Bridge Club, the Women’s Bridge Club, the church choir, and she served as a Sunday School teacher.

She was a member of the Quilters Guild, Home Extension Club, and the Tuesday morning Donut Dollys Club.

Frances was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother, who will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
