A Quilt Block Challenge contest will be held during the 2022 McClain County Fair on September 8-10.
HOSA International Leadership Conference will be June 22-25 in Nashville, Tennessee. The MATC students eligible to compete on the national level are: Bianca Garduno, Medical Office Assistant; Ana Cardoza, Practical Nursing; Janelle Winterton, Therapeutic Health Careers; and Rylie Hurley, Veterinary Assistant. Also placing at the HOSA State Leadership Conference in Norman from Newcastle were: Paige Christy, second place, Health Care Issues Exam; and Happie Candelaria, second place, Health Education. • photo provided
Superintendent Melonie Hau accepts a check for $6,990 from the Team Spirit Card program at The First National Bank & Trust Co. This program triggers a donation with every customer transaction when the customer carries a Team Spirit card. To the customer, the cost is nothing.
