Several Newcastle students earn degrees from OSU

This month the Oklahoma Tax Commission paid back $194,656,884 in sales taxes to municipalities along with $31,042,126 in use taxes.
Two August events were announced by the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce on Monday. A Morning Mingle and the annual Meet the Community are planned.

In addition to the team routines, four members of the Newcastle Pom squad made All-American. They are: sophomore Jacy Cook, senior Cadence Howard, sophomore Abbi Thurman, and junior Emma Webster. Their coach said they had to work extra hours and tryout for the UDA (Universal Dance Association) All-American title. They were judged on Pom, Hip Hop, Jazz and improvisational technique. In addition to being awarded the All-American title, the girls were invited to participate in the Pearl Harbor parade in Hawaii or a dance event in London this December. • photo provided
