Radiation treatment provider files for bankruptcy ›
A center for proton treatment of cancer in Oklahoma City has filed for bankruptcy protection, leaving the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in a key position for developing the technology. Oklahoma ProCure Management LLC, doing business as ProCure Proton Therapy Center, filed for Chapter 11 in the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on Nov. 16. The radiation treatment provider has $126 million in secured debt and $22 million in unsecured note debt, according to court documents. It also owes $340,000 in lease obligations to Integris Health Inc., which owns the hospital to which ProCure is attached.
