19 counties declared SAFER AT HOME by Stitt
On Tuesday, Gov. Kev Stitt ordered all non-essential businesses to close by 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, and remain closed for 21 days for the 19 counties where positive COVID-19 cases have been reported . These include businesses with close contact or personal touch, such as hair salons, gyms, massage parlors, tattoo parlors, etc.
Stitt‘s executive order, banned all gatherings of 10 or more people across the state.
In addition, he issued a 14-day suspension of all elective surgeries, minor medical procedures and non emergency dental procedures.
Stitt announced the state will immediately suspend all visitation to nursing home and long-term care facilities.
Restaurants are encouraged to re main open while offering curbside/delivery.
