James 4:14 says, “Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.” Another way of saying this is “life is short.” I would add to that “eternity is long.” We all know that life can change in a matter of moments, which is why we must be prepared for what is to come.
