Homecoming Friday

Plans are being finalized for Homecoming 2021 at Newcastle High School. The theme for this year’s Homecoming is “We Will Rock You,” and a parade is from 10-11 a.m. tomorrow (Friday) in downtown Newcastle.

Officers of the Newcastle Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) went to the Lead Conference leadership training. County 4-H’ers recognized for achievement at 4-H Roundup

County 4-H’ers recognized for achievement at 4-H Roundup

Two McClain County 4-H’ers made a big showing at the Centennial State 4-H Roundup that took place recently on the Oklahoma State University campus. Wyatt Nikodym and Hunter Haxton were recognized for their achievement and brought home a share of the $140,000 worth of educational scholarships that were presented during the Honors Night Assembly.
