Senior moments from the Newcastle Senior Center
DOROTHY’S DABLINGS/ Senior Citizen happenings
Hello Newcastle Seniors! I hope you are all doing well and enjoying this spring-like weather. It will very soon be summer heat and we will be hoping for cooler weather and rain.
We had two visitors this week, Mary Crues and Betty Doyle. We love having new people come in to share a meal and fellowship with us. The door is always open and we welcome you to come back any time. If you would like to plan a visit we are located at 504 SH130, across the street from the high school, our phone number is 405-387-2100.
Is anyone missing an 8x10 picture of a little blonde girl, about 5 years old? There was a picture in some items donated when we had our garage sale a few weeks ago. It doesn’t belong to any one at the center and we have been unable to locate an owner. She is a beautiful child. I feel certain there is someone who would treasure the picture and want it back.
Esme has been on vacation and a young man, Jessica Eyman’s son, Anthony, jumped in and helped his mother with the cooking and whatever else she needed him to do. Thank you Anthony Eyman. You have done a fine job. He also volunteered several days when we needed him earlier in May.
Have a great week. I will see you next week.
