Several of Niki Gayler’s interns were in attendance at the February Newcastle Board of Education meeting last week. Gayler reports there are now 60 students in the program who have been placed at businesses around the metro area. Students led the flag salute and some offered information about their experiences and the impact the program has had on their education.
