A slate of names has been presented by the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors nominating committee as possibilities to serve on the Chamber’s 2027 Board.
These are two-year terms which begin in January 2027.
Nominees are Cody Barton, Mid-America Technology Center; Ella Murguia, Community Bank; Emily Littlejohn, Physical Therapy Central; Sean Riley, Tactical Pest Solutions; and Tony Morely, Walmart.
The Chamber bylaws provide for additional names of candidates to be nominated. These names must be accompanied by two letters of recommendation by qualified members of the Chamber. Letters must be filed and sent to the Nominating Committee within 10 days calendar days of the notice that went out Monday, October 26.

The determination of the Nominating Committee as to the legality of the recommendation shall be final.
