Purcell outsold other Mc-Clain County municipalities in Medical Marijuana during the month of August 2026.
Purcell had a total of $12,465.74 returned in sales tax from the Oklahoma Tax Commission for its Medical Marijuana sales in August. Newcastle had $8,176.74 in sales tax returned to its city coffers, while Blanchard had $2,760.22.
Those same municipalities sent sales taxes to the state and to the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA). The state received $10,199.32 from Purcell, and $8,176.74 from Newcastle. Additionally, Blanchard sent in $2,272.29 to the state.
