ORDINANCE NO. 1023
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWCASTLE, OKLAHOMA, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING DISTRICTS MAP OF SAID CITY, BY CHANGING THE ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FOR THE HERE-IN-BELOW-DESCRIBED TRACT OF LAND; AUTHORIZING THE CHANGE OF SAID ZONING DISTRICT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING DISTRICTS MAP OF SAID CITY; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, the City has provided notice and conducted a public hearing upon said proposed Zoning District change, all in accordance with Oklahoma Statutes and the City’s adopted Zoning Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Newcastle, Oklahoma:
SECTION 1: Tract Re-Zoned.
The official Zoning Districts Map of the City of Newcastle, Oklahoma, is hereby amended by changing the Zoning District Classification of the following tract of land to: PUD (Planned Unit Development)
A tract of land situate within the Northwest Quarter (NW/4) of Section Fifteen (15), Township Nine North (T9N), Range Four West (R4W) of the Indian Meridian (I.M.) in Newcastle, McClain County, Oklahoma, being more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at the Northwest corner of said NW/4; thence
N 89°33’32” E along the North line of said NW/4 a distance of 1148.82 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing
N 89°33’32” E along the North line of said NW/4 a distance of 688.28 feet; thence S 00°26’28” E a distance of 856.83 feet to a curve to the right; thence
115.91 feet along the arc of said curve, having a radius of 1000.00 feet, subtended by a chord bearing S 02°52’46”W, 115.84 feet distant to a point on the North line extended of WYNDEMERE PHASE VI, according to the recording plat thereof; thence along said line the following Two (2) courses:
1. S 72°59’15”W a distance of 621.59 feet; thence
2. S 84°59’43”W a distance of 86.07 feet to the Southeast corner of WYNDEMERE STORAGE, according to the recorded plat thereof;
thence N 00°26’28”W along the East line of said plat a distance of 1156.61 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
Said tract having an area of 737,391 Square Feet or 16.93 Acres, more or less.
The basis of bearings for this survey is N89°33’32” E along the North line of the NW/4 as determined by GPS observation. (Wyndemere 785/The Grove R2026-011)
SECTION 2: Change to Zoning Map Authorized.
Said Amendment hereinabove described is hereby authorized to be added to the Official Zoning Districts Map of the City of Newcastle, Oklahoma, by the City Clerk.
SECTION 3: Emergency
It being immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, peace, safety and welfare of this the residents of the City of Newcastle, Oklahoma, that this re-zoning takes effect as soon as possible, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, by reason whereof this Ordinance shall take full force and effect immediately upon its passage and approval as required by law.
