County government and the thoughts of the county commissioners are the focus for the annual Chamber of Commerce State of McClain County luncheon. It will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 8 at Goldsby Community Center, 100 E. 1290 Road in Goldsby.
The luncheon, presented by a partnership of the Newcastle, Blanchard and The Heart of Oklahoma Chambers of Commerce, costs $20 per attendee. Those who are interested can sign up online through the Newcastle Chamber at newcastleok.org.
Chamber CEO/Executive Director Gayla Riddle said this is an exclusive event for chamber members to hear directly from County Commissioners about the future of the county. Commissioners are Glen Murray, District 1; Wilson Lyles, District 2; and Terry Daniel, District 3.
Riddle said this special event will highlight current growth trends, infrastructure projects, and development initiatives that directly impact the County businesses and communities.
