MGCEMS makes 275 calls in July

McClain-Grady County Emergency Medical Services went on 275 calls during the month of July 2026. Of those, 175 were billed, while 102 were non-transport calls.

MCGEMS had an average response time of 9.82 minutes, and an average miles per patient transport of 12.79. They provided mutual aid on six calls.

Sick calls and fall calls led the types of calls with sick calls tallying 49 and falls tallying 48.

The EMS calls for July were the following: Abdominal pain, 13; agricultural accident, 1; alcohol intoxication, 2; allergic reaction, 2; altered consciousness, 11; assault, 8; automobile accident, 26; BLS transfer, 1; burns, 1; cardiac arrest, 3; chest pain, 16; choking, 4; event standby, 3; fall, 48; fire standby, 8; hyperglycemia, 1; hypertension, 1; hyperthermia, 4; hypotension, 5; industrial accident, 1; laceration, 5; lift assist, 11; overdose, 3; psychiatric emergency, 4; seizure, 7; shortness of breath, 15; sick call, 49; stroke, 2; syicide attempt, 1; syncope, 12; and welfare check, 7.
