A groundbreaking ceremony was held at the Newcastle Schools Baseball and Softball fields at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Superintendent Dr. Cathy Walker is joined by school administrators, coaches Mike Crossley and Jerod King, and personnel from MA+ Architecture and Nabholz Construction.
