Early voting begins Thursday, August 20, 2026 for voters in McClain County. Voters who will not be able to make it to the polls on Election Day have the option of voting early at the McClain County Community Center.
McClain County Election Board Secretary, Jenifer Howry, said early voting is open to all eligible voters. “You do not need to provide an excuse to vote early. Oklahoma allows early voting for all elections conducted by the County Election Board or State Election Board – from school board and municipal elections to state and federal elections. This is a great option for those who will be out of town on Election Day or who want to avoid long lines,” Howry said.
Early voting is available Thursday, August 20th and Friday, August 21st from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the McClain County Community Center located at 1721 Hardcastle Blvd., Purcell as well as the new location at the Historic City Hall, west of the flagpole in Blanchard. Early voting will also be available on Saturday, August 22nd from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at both locations. Howry reminds voters that early voting is not available at polling locations.
