State Champs get their rings
The 2026 Racer Basketball team held a gathering on Monday, August 3 where they received their State Championship rings. They had been raising money since just after winning the title last year. The event was held at Pryor Place Event Center, 1900 S.E. 16th Street in Newcastle. Luigi’s Cucina Italiana in Newcastle donated food for the event. • photo provided
