Bridge Creek Public Schools recently released its Free and Reduced-Price Meals policy providing guidance for the parents of school children. They said your children might qualify for free meals or for reduced- priced meals based on your household size and your income.
Regardless, to help meet their need, the school system needs applicants to apply.
You can also apply if your children are homeless, migrant or runaway. If you believe your children meet any of these descriptions, contact David Morrow, 405-3874880, or email [email protected].
There are children who are already qualified to get free or reduced-price meals. They include children in households receiving benefits from Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations, or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families.
Children who are foster children and under the care of a foster care agency or court are eligible for free meals. Children participating in their school’s Head Start program are eligible for free meals. And, children who are in households that fall within the limits on the Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines may also receive either free or reduced-price meals.
The Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines Chart for the 2027 school year indicates that a household of one child can qualify if the total yearly income is $29,526 or less. A household of two children qualifies if total yearly income is $40,034 or less.
A household of three can qualify with an income of $50,542. For the income chart, contact Bridge Creek Public Schools.

If your child gets free or reduced-price meals, they may also be able to apply through Medicaid or Sooner Care for free or low-cost health insurance.
