This year’s McClain County Free Fair is commemorating its Centennial, and will be held September 10-12 in Purcell. To help celebrate, they are holding a new event this year.
A Miss McClain County Pageant is planned and they need entries. Those wishing to enter must do so by Tuesday August 4.
The Pageant will be at the McClain County Farm and Home Building at 6 p.m. on Tuesday September 1.
Age Divisions (age as of September 1) include: Tiny Miss — 2 to 4 years old; Little Miss — 5 to 9 years old; Jr. Miss — 10 to 14 years old; Miss — 15 to 18 years old. Contestants must be residents of McClain County to enter.
Each age division is limited to six participants and these will be entered on a first come, first serve basis. Entry forms along with more requirements and information can be found on the fair website at www.mcclaincountyfair. com or on their page on Facebook @ mcclaincountyfair.
