McClain County offered up a total of $72,030.56 in sales tax and MMJ tax on its Medical Marijuana sales for June 2026.
From that total, Newcastle had the most sales with Purcell following. Blanchard was third, and Lindsay came in after Blanchard. The municipality is just now beginning to collect taxes on Medical Marijuana sales.
Newcastle was returned $10,015.79 to its city coffers, but also collected $12,439.96 for the MMJ.
Purcell collected and was returned $12,289.06 to its city coffers from its sales. They collected another $8,278.98 for MMJ.
Blanchard was returned $2,800.24, and Lindsay was returned $18.35.
Blanchard collected $3,327.45 for the MMJ, and Lindsay did not collect anything for MMJ.
McClain County municipalities provided the State of Oklahoma the following in taxes: Purcell, $10,054.72; Newcastle, $10,052.89; Blanchard, $2,588.15; and Lindsay, $164.97.
