Mid-America Technology Center announces former instructor Kyla Perry as the newest member of the Board of Education, and will be serving zone 3.
Perry brings more than 30 years of educational experience to the board, along with an understanding of Mid-America Technology Center’s mission and the communities it serves.
After a career in public education, she joined MATC in 2021 to launch the Business Office Assistant program, where she developed curriculum and built partnerships with local businesses to prepare students with the technical and professional skills needed for today’s workforce.
Throughout her career, Perry has been recognized for her commitment to student success, relationships, and educational excellence. Her transition from educator to board member reflects her continued dedication to supporting career and technology education and ensuring future generations of students have access to high-quality training and opportunities.
