Steven Todd Bass, 56, of Newcastle, died Monday, March 23, 2026, in Oklahoma City. The son of Jerry Don Bass and Luetta Sue (Bonner) Bass, he was born on June 8, 1969, in Oklahoma City.
Steven worked for many years as a mud engineer for the oil and gas industry. He was also a welder by trade. In his spare time, he enjoyed the outdoors, farming, and spending time with his family and friends. Steven was a good mechanic and could fix almost anything.
Steven is survived by: his parents, Jerry and Sue Bass of Newcastle; a brother and sisterin- law, Jerry and Becky Bass of Newcastle; nieces and nephews, Christina and Brian Adams of Blanchard, Jerry and Holly Bass of Newcastle, and Amanda and Matt Stehr of Blanchard; several great-nieces and -nephews; and many other loved ones and friends.
