In this week’s Chickasaw Nation news, a Chickasaw citizen’s Armor Elite basketball team was selected to compete in Nike’s Elite Youth Basketball League Jr. program for girls 13 years of age and younger. The program showcases the top youth basketball leagues in the U.S. Ellis Knight and Vic Saunders coach the team. A second story focuses on the Chickasaw Retreat & Conference Center at Lake of the Arbuckles. The facility touts breathtaking views, dry saunas and steam rooms, as well as fun outdoor activities including fishing, canoeing, disc golf, horseshoes, sand volleyball and nature walks.
