Christian Nationalism is topic for McClain County Democrats on June 16

John E. Karlin, Ph.D. will be speaking to the McClain County Democrats about the Christian Nationalism movement at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16 at Libby’s Cafe in Goldsby, 111 N. Main St. The public is invited to attend.

Dr. Karlin is a retired professor of sociology and administration of justice and will be speaking about the movement’s impact on U.S. politics. He will discuss the long- and short-term goals of the movement by linking their ideology and belief system to those goals.

He will share his belief that Christian Nationalism is a movement to convert the United States from a Democratic nation into a theocracy serving the interests of oligarchs in whom power is primarily concentrated.

Dr. Karlin earned a bachelor’s of science degree at Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas, in 1974, a master’s of science in administration of justice at Wichita State University in 1975, and a doctor of philosophy degree at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana.

He has dedicated 21 years to full-time teaching at the college level at Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma City University, Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Louisiana State University in Eunice, Louisiana, and Cowley County Community College in Arkansas City, Kansas.
